John and Cameron formed Hutchison Weller in 2015 aiming to create a space where the best people enjoy working closely with great clients on exciting projects.

John HutchisonJohn is a principal acoustic specialist with over two decades of experience in noise and vibration assessment and management. A Certified Professional Engineer holding a Master of Environmental Engineering Science, his expertise spans a variety of sectors including water, infrastructure, mining, manufacturing, and energy. John is known for his innovative approach and commitment to delivering the best outcomes for his clients, continuously seeking ways to improve service and foster strong client relationships. Throughout his career, John has played pivotal roles in numerous high-profile projects. As an Acoustic Advisor, he has provided independent oversight and strategic advice on state significant infrastructure projects such as the Coffs Harbour Bypass, M7 Widening, and WestConnex. John’s work on projects like Sydney Metro West, Western Harbour Tunnel, and NorthConnex highlights his ability to handle complex acoustic challenges, ensuring compliance and mitigating impacts on communities and sensitive environments. | Cameron WellerCameron is a Principal Environmental Scientist with a distinguished career in environmental management and planning for large infrastructure projects. He holds a Master of Environmental Law and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geography. Cameron has extensive experience in managing environmental impacts during the planning and construction phases of major projects, including roles as an Environmental Representative on significant projects such as Project EnergyConnect, Sydney Gateway, and WestConnex M4-M5 Link. His expertise encompasses compliance with NSW Department of Planning Conditions of Approval, the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act, and ISO14001 standards. Cameron is also skilled in community consultation, ensuring that projects meet both regulatory requirements and community expectations. |

Scott Hughes
Senior Acoustic Engineer
Scott is a highly experienced Acoustic Engineer with over 20 years of expertise in environmental, rail, and road traffic noise and vibration assessment. He holds a Master of Environmental Management and a Bachelor of Engineering. Scott has been instrumental in numerous significant infrastructure projects, providing independent oversight, strategic advice, and practical management solutions.

Aidann Stathis
Senior Environmental Specialist
With a Master of Environment and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management, Aidann specializes in Environmental Approvals including Impact Assessments and Management Plans. Aidann has contributed to significant projects such as the Western Harbour Tunnel and Sydney Metro West Central Tunnelling Package, where she has prepared modification reports, environmental management plans, and noise and vibration impact statements.

Adrian Broger
Senior Environmental Specialist
With a Graduate Certificate of Environmental Planning and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Management and Commerce, Adrian has extensive experience in environmental management, planning, and compliance for major infrastructure projects in Sydney, including the Sydney CBD and Southeast Light Rail, Rozelle Interchange, Western Harbour Tunnel, and M6 Stage 1.

James Daramola
Senior Acoustic Engineer
An Acoustic Engineer, with a background in mechanical engineering and sound production, James has experience across a diverse range of projects, including the preparation of Construction Noise and Vibration Impact Statements (CNVIS), compliance noise monitoring reports, and fieldwork on significant projects such as the Sydney Metro West Central Tunnelling Package, Western Harbour Tunnel, and the M1 Pacific Motorway Extension to Raymond Terrace, showcasing his ability to manage complex acoustic challenges and deliver effective solutions.

Ellen Fowler
Environmental Consultant
Ellen has dual Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Management (Geography) and Arts (Media, Culture and Technology) from UNSW and has extensive experience in environmental management, planning, and compliance for major infrastructure projects, including the Rozelle Interchange and M6 Stage 1. Her expertise includes developing and implementing environmental management plans, erosion and sediment control, and regulatory compliance.

Ciara Moriarty
Senior Environment and Sustainability Manager
Ciara has extensive experience on major projects, includng Sydney's WestConnex, developing management plans, daily environmental management and development of sustainability in design initiatives
